What Happens if It Rains on My Mobile Detailing Day?

Rain matters differently depending on the location and the service. An exposed driveway presents different conditions from an approved covered area, but cover alone does not settle access, blowing rain, or equipment suitability. Tell the team what shelter is available and whether the property permits work there. The decision should reflect the actual setup and weather, not an assumption that every appointment continues or every appointment is automatically canceled.

If the forecast looks uncertain, keep your contact information current and ask how the team wants to coordinate. Do not move the car into an unauthorized garage or shared area just to preserve the original booking. A new work location may need its own permission and access review. If the address changes, provide the correct location and ZIP so the booking reflects where the service will actually take place, including the applicable travel fee.

Coating requests require particular care in planning conditions and aftercare. Ceramic coating and paint correction are quote-only, and the team should explain any environment or drying requirements for the proposed work. Do not rely on an invented universal cure time or assume rain is harmless immediately after application. For a standard detail, ask what care is appropriate after the visit. In either case, clarify any weather-related scheduling or payment questions directly rather than treating general advice as a business policy.

Compare detailing packages with the specific needs of your vehicle in mind. Deluxe starts at $99.99 and Gold starts at $149.99. Premium starts at $299.99 for small vehicles and goes up to $399.99 for large vehicles. These are package starting points, not a promise that every requested task is included. Read the current descriptions and ask which service addresses your priorities before confirming the appointment.

Interior shampoo is a $25 per seat add-on. RV detailing starts at $10 per foot. Ceramic coating and paint correction are quote-only, so request an assessment rather than estimating those services from a standard package price. Tell the team about pet hair, heavy soil, staining, or other concerns early. A clear scope helps distinguish normal maintenance from work that needs additional discussion, without inventing a charge or guaranteeing a particular result.

SoFlo Detailing is based in Hollywood, Florida, and serves all of Broward County with no travel fee. Miami-Dade County and Boca Raton are also served, with a $30 travel fee. Enter the ZIP for the actual work location when you book your mobile detail and the applicable fee is added automatically. Review the location and selected service together, especially if the car will be detailed somewhere other than your home address.

Before the visit, remove personal belongings from the areas being cleaned and arrange permission and access for the work location. SoFlo brings its own water and power, but a suitable space is still necessary. A mobile detail typically takes a few hours depending on package, vehicle size, and condition. Ask about timing and any drying or aftercare needs, and leave flexibility instead of planning an immediate departure at an assumed finish time.
